RV Pre-Trip Inspection & Seasonal Tune Up
The worst time to find out something is wrong with your RV is on the highway or at your first campsite 200 miles from home. A pre-trip inspection from Homeaway Camping gives you confidence that your rig is ready before you leave — and that your family stays safe on the road
Why Pre-Trip Inspections Save You Money and Stress
Most RV problems don't appear out of nowhere — they develop slowly over time and only become obvious when the system finally fails completely. A thorough inspection before a trip catches the warning signs early, when repairs are minor, rather than after a breakdown at a campsite hours from home.
Texas summers, Gulf Coast humidity, and the heat-and-cool cycles that come with seasonal storage are hard on RV systems. Roof seals crack. Battery connections corrode. Slide-out seals dry out and crack. Tire sidewalls develop dry rot even without heavy mileage. A pre-trip inspection addresses all of this before you go.
