RV Roof Inspection, Leak Repair & Resealing
A leaking RV roof is one of the most damaging and expensive problems an RV owner can face. Homeaway Camping provides professional, certified roof inspections, leak repairs, and resealing services throughout Brookshire, Katy, and Greater West Houston — on-site at your location.
Why RV Roof Maintenance is Critical in Texas
The Texas sun, heat, and Gulf Coast humidity are especially hard on RV roofs. UV exposure causes rubber EPDM roofs to dry out and crack. Heat and cooling cycles work on sealants, causing them to lift and separate. Debris from storms sits on roofs and traps moisture. A small crack in a roof seal can allow water to seep into walls and subfloors for months before the damage becomes visible inside — by which point repairs can run into thousands of dollars.
Most RV manufacturers recommend roof inspection at least once a year and resealing every 3–4 years. At Homeaway Camping, we inspect and reseal roofs throughout the Houston area using industry-approved RV-grade sealants that are compatible with all roof types.
Roof Types We Service
Our certified technicians are trained to work on all major RV roof materials:
What's Included in Our Roof Inspection
Roof Resealing Service
When inspection reveals failing or compromised seals, our certified technicians reseal using products approved for your specific roof type — not generic hardware store caulk that will fail in Texas temperatures.
Roof Leak Detection & Repair
Already have a leak? Don't let it get worse. Water damage compounds — what starts as a damp ceiling panel can become soft subfloor, delaminated walls, and mold within a single season. We diagnose the source of active leaks and repair them on-site.
Combine Roof Service with a Full Pre-Trip Inspection
Many customers combine roof inspection and resealing with our full pre-trip inspection package for comprehensive peace of mind before camping season. Ask about our bundled service options when you call.
